In 1995, Mike noticed that there was a lack of quality pet foods and products for his pets.  He began to do some research and found out that there were other people who felt the same way and that healthful pet food existed, it was just not available in the larger pet supply stores.  Hoping to bring these products into more households, he decided to open his first store - The Pet Barn on Park Avenue in Worcester.  Mike’s complete knowledge of his products and his warm, friendly, and responsive personality are welcome by customers seeking healthful, organic, holistic and safe products for their pets at competitive prices.  Mike works with his customers to find the best foods for their pets, often acquiring special order products.

After a few years, Mike decided to open a second store in Holden with his sister, Ellie and a third in Grafton.  The response and feedback he received was excellent but he believed that too many people were still feeding their pets low quality foods.  Mike decided to bring in a partner, J-L Cormier, and to branch out from The Pet Barn.  Together, Mike & J-L found a space large enough to facilitate their vision of The Pet Barn Warehouse (PBW) - a single location to serve all of the needs of pet owners.  In August 2009, they opened the retail portion of The Pet Barn Warehouse.  Please come by and tell us what you think!  We would be delighted to work with you and provide you with samples in order to find the best foods for your pets.
